About the Workshop

Join ARTS for a two-day workshop with Carolina Dalmas and learn how to achieve vivid and high chroma flowers!

Carolina will guide participants through the step-by-step process of painting a flower portrait. Each lesson will begin with a demonstration, allowing students to fully understand each step of the painting process, as well as foundational elements of art, such as line, value, color, composition, and edges. Reference photos and fresh blooms will be provided.

This workshop offers a structured approach to artistic growth, and is perfect for beginners seeking a solid foundation, or for seasoned artists aiming to refine their technique.

About the Artist

Carolina has more than 10 years of experience teaching. She is patient, fun, and uses pedagogic strategies that her students love. She always starts her classes with this phrase: “Art begins with observation. Art is discovery, a way of looking at the world as though you are seeing it for the first time.” Her work, easily distinguished by her use of vibrant and dynamic colors, has been juried and awarded into local and international shows, like International Pastel Society IAPS 34th Juried Exhibition, “Art of the Pastel” National Juried Show, and Richerson N75 International (Small Works and Florals). While she is originally from Argentina, she currently resides in The Woodlands, TX with her husband.
