Fine Art Assemblies

“Music is like painting in sound. You take it into your inner heart and never lose it. It’s eternally mysterious.” - Van Cliburn

Since time and expense prohibit transporting regional children to metropolitan areas, ARTS brings the performing artists to our rural communities! These FREE performances give children a front row seat and a backstage pass to world-class fine arts experiences.

Recent performances include: Houston Grand Opera to Go, Ballet Austin, the UH Concert Chorale, a Marimba Band, and a professional storyteller.

Summer Art Camp & Workshops

Our summer ARTS camps and workshops allow children to explore new and creative ways to express themselves, and maybe even discover a new hobby! Ranging from full-day workshops to week-long camps, themes include photography, clay, painting, theater, choir, culinary arts, fused glass, mosaics, and more! All materials are provided.

These fee-based camps and workshops will take place in June and July in Fayetteville, La Grange, Round Top, Schulenburg, Weimar, and Flatonia. Be on the lookout for our final schedule in March!

Your generous donation will help ARTS remove the barrier of access to the arts for children in our rural communities.
