The Holiday Show
ARTS recognizes the artistic vision and ingenuity of our community and our community's youth. The Holiday Show provides an annual opportunity for creatives to showcase their work at ARTS' Ross Gallery.

Please read the following important dates, deadlines, rules, and requirements carefully. Online entry forms will be available November 1 at 10 a.m. If you have questions or would like more information, please email artists@artsforruraltexas.org or call (979) 378-2113.
Important Dates & Deadlines:
Friday, November 1: The call for entry will open at 10 a.m.
Friday, December 6: The call for entry will close at 4 p.m. Late entries will NOT be accepted!
*Monday, December 2 – Friday, December 6: Artwork can be delivered to the ARTS Ross Gallery from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. All submissions must be received by Friday, December 6 at 4 p.m. Again, late entries will NOT be accepted!
Saturday, December 14: ARTS celebrates in conjunction with Fayetteville’s Country Christmas. Festivities will begin with children’s crafts from 2 – 4 p.m., followed by the artists’ reception and exhibition opening from 4 – 6 p.m. Stick around for the lighted Christmas parade on Fayetteville's Town Square!
December 14 – January 11: Exhibition dates. The ARTS Ross Gallery will be open to the public Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
*January 13 – January 18: Unsold artwork can be picked up from the ARTS Ross Gallery from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday – Saturday. Any unclaimed artwork not picked up by 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 18 will become the property of Arts for Rural Texas.
*If you cannot meet the prescribed delivery or pick up times, please email artists@artsforruraltexas.org or call (979) 378-2113 to make special arrangements.
Rules & Requirements:
Youth Category
The youth category is open to students grades 1 – 12.
Applicants may enter one submission. All entries will be automatically accepted into the exhibition; there is no jurying process.
Applicants must complete the online entry form. Work that is delivered without a completed entry form will NOT be accepted.
All two-dimensional works (paintings, drawings, photography, and digital prints) must be framed and ready to hang with a wire across the back. Unframed work will not be accepted (gallery wrapped canvases may be submitted with no frame).
If three-dimensional works require special support, that support must be provided with the artwork (ARTS has pedestals and tabletop easels available for display).
Youth entries will receive 100% commission on works that are for sale. ARTS will not collect any portion of the sale. ARTS will collect and pay state sales tax. Artworks may be marked as Not for Sale (NFS).
Artwork must be delivered with a description of each piece (artist’s name and title) attached to the work for identification purposes. All other needed information will be collected from the online entry form.
Adult Category
Applicants may enter one submission. All entries will be automatically accepted into the exhibition; there is no jurying process.
