On the first Saturday in November, more than 200 community members come together for the annual Harvestfest gala in Fayetteville, TX, to support Arts for Rural Texas and the important role the arts play in a child’s life.
Since 2004, volunteers have been putting on the Harvestfest gala to raise awareness and money to bring fine art opportunities to children in our rural communities. At the center of this event is an art auction, featuring coveted pieces by local and national artists. Since the pieces are generously donated by the artists, the dollars generated by the auction 100% benefit Arts for Rural Texas and its programs in Fayette and surrounding counties.
“Those who help with ARTS' mission, whether artist, donor, teacher or patron, are indeed helping to change lives for the better and we thank them," says Rowe, “We all must support the future and we do that by educating and enriching our children.”
In 2020, due to the global pandemic, ARTS has reorganized Harvestfest.
Our children’s programs are needed now more than ever. We have sustained our programs while others have closed. We have redesigned ARTS’ educational structure to better serve current and future needs while providing the stability and programs so essentially needed by the youth today.
When you write a check, you are in fact helping children “Write Their Next Chapter.” YOU provide the teachers. YOU buy the supplies. YOU underwrite the performers. YOU build greatness and imaginations in hopeful children and support them in these confusing times. YOU build leaders.
PLEASE consider being an “UnGala” sponsor or provide the most generous donation you can. All contributions will be acknowledged through year’s end. Every dollar makes a difference. Donations can be made in honor of another if you wish and we will notify them of your thoughtful generosity.
ARTS cannot provide the essential services to our communities without YOU. s.org. We gratefully appreciate your tax deductible gift.
