Every year on the first weekend of May, Fayetteville's historic square explodes into life with fine art and music! ArtWalk is a juried fine art festival with nearly 60 artists of all media selling their original works, including paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics and more!

Arts for Rural Texas and Senior Connections have partnered together to host free art classes for all senior citizens in the area!
An art instructor will guide the class through a specific project, but if individuals would rather, they are welcome to bring their own craft. Some of the projects that will be taught include mosaics, painting, needle felting, rock painting, and much more. Lunch is provided afterwards at the Senior Connections facility.

Storytime in the Gallery
Embark on a literary adventure and step into a world of imagination! Storytime in the Gallery transports young minds into the magical realms of both storytelling and art. A skilled storyteller will weave tales that come to life and captivate young audiences.
The program is designed for children 2-5 years of age and will be held every fourth Thursday of the month from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the ARTS Ross Gallery.

Plein Air Perspectives: A Texas Trio Exhibition Opening and Artists' Reception

The exhibition showcases plein air painting inspired by the trio’s adventures across various Texas cities. ARTS and the trio invite you to the artists’ reception and exhibition opening on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at ARTS’ Ross Gallery to see how the artists captured the unique charm of Fayetteville and other Texas towns.
Plein Air Perspectives: A Texas Trio, Community Plein Air Paint Out
Discover the vibrant world of Plein Air painting as Arts for Rural Texas presents Plein Air Perspectives: A Texas Trio, featuring the captivating works of Julie Sanderson, Kathy Hammond, and Lisette McClung. These talented artists, fueled by a love for travel, seek beauty in scenes that forge a connection to places and people.
The trio welcomes the public to join them Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. on Fayetteville’s town square for a community plein air paint out. Bring your supplies and paint along with the artists or sit back and observe the creative process. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or an aspiring artist, watching artists at work can be a delightful and inspiring experience.
ArtWalk 2024 Call for Poster Artists
CALLING ALL POSTER ARTISTS!
Arts for Rural Texas is looking for ArtWalk 2024’s poster art artist! This year’s theme is “Deep in the ARTS of Texas!” The winning selection will be proudly featured on billboards, posters, merchandise, print and digital advertisements and more. The winning artist will also be automatically juried-in to the ArtWalk 2024 show.

Art After School Registration: Spring 2024
Our free after school classes introduce children to various forms of art while encouraging creative thinking in a fun and safe environment. Taught by local artists, musicians, and educators, classes are designed to build self-confidence while contributing to artistic skills, leadership development, better academic performance, and barrier-breaking.

The Holiday Show
ARTS recognizes the artistic vision and ingenuity of our community and our community's youth. The Holiday Show provides an annual opportunity for creatives to showcase their work at ARTS' Ross Gallery.
ARTS will celebrate in conjunction with Fayetteville's Country Christmas. Join us at ARTS' Ross Gallery Saturday, December 9th, 2023. Festivities will begin with children's crafts from 2-4 p.m., followed by a reception of our artists' work from 4-6 p.m. Stick around for the lighted Christmas parade and Christmas caroling on Fayetteville's Town Square!
