The Artist
Stephen Henry is an artist and art educator. He is a veteran of 26 years in the classroom, teaching both youth and adults alike. He has participated in dozens of gallery exhibitions across the United States, including solo shows. Stephen has been recognized with numerous accolades, including several “Best of Show” awards. Most of the latter awards—over 40, in fact—have come from competing in his favorite venue: plein air painting. The works in his studio are the offspring of painting in the open air. He can often be found chasing the light of an outdoor scene, forever seeking to lose himself in the painted world of his creations.
