2025 ArtWalk Artist Applications Now Open!

Exhibitor Requirements & More Information

Requirements:

• Applicants must create 100% of all work displayed.

• All artworks must be the artist’s artwork and original in design and concept.  Work reproduced or copied from other artists’ artwork will be disqualified.

• Each exhibitor is responsible for the sale of his/her work and must be present during the entire show.  No agent or representative may manage the booth in place of the artist.

• Prices must be clearly displayed on all items.

• Arts for Rural Texas does not take a commission on any sales.

• Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting the appropriate sales tax. Information is available through the Texas State Comptroller.

• Exhibitors will be permitted to exhibit only the specific type of work accepted by the jury. If entering in multiple categories, submit separate applications and images for each category. Jewelry, for example, cannot be exhibited with another medium without being accepted by the jury.

• Artists sharing a booth must apply and be juried into the show separately. Artists sharing booths will pay an additional fee of $50 per artist.

• Any work created by a person other than the exhibitor, or any mass-produced items are unacceptable for exhibit. Arts for Rural Texas has the right to reject any work for exhibit that does not fall within the spirit of the requirements.

• Reproductions to be presented only in portfolios or bins, not hung on the walls (and not be more than 20% of exhibit).

• All personal tents/booths must be secured and weighed down with a minimum of 50lb on each corner.  Ground stakes may not be used per city ordinance.

• Final interpretation of these requirements will be at the discretion of Arts for Rural Texas.

Application Information:

• Applications for ArtWalk 2025 will be accepted in the following mediums:

  Painting/Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media, Ceramics, Glass, Jewelry, Sculpture, Wearable and Non-Wearable Fiber, and Wood.

• Late applications will NOT be accepted. The deadline to enter is January 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

• Applicants must submit 3 images of current work as well as 1 image of booth display for the jurying process.

Booth Fees:

Early-Bird Rates (Until October 31, 2024):

• Open Air Booths (Artist provides 10’x10’ tent): $200

• ARTS Tents (ARTS provides 10’x10’ tent booth with Pro-Panel walls): $425

• Old Fire House (ARTS provides 9 Pro Panel Walls): $450

  • The Old Fire House is an indoor space with LIMITED availability.

  • This space is NOT air conditioned.

Standard Rates (November 1st - January 17th, 2025):

• Open Air Booths (Artist provides 10’x10’ tent): $250

• ARTS Tents (ARTS provides 10’x10’ tent booth with Pro-Panel walls): $475

• Old Fire House (ARTS provides 9 Pro Panel Walls): $500

Additional Pro Panel Walls will be available for rent by any participant while supplies last at $20/panel.

How to Apply

1. Scroll down and click the “Add To Cart” button under “ArtWalk 2025 Artist Application.”

2. Complete the application form that will pop-up.

3. Click the “Finalize Application” button and follow the prompts to make payment.

4. Use the “Artist Application Images Upload” form to upload your 3 sample images and 1 booth photo for the jury. Images can also be emailed to development@artsforruraltexas.org.

   PLEASE NOTE: Your application will not be considered complete until you submit your sample images for jury.

   NOTE TO ARTWALK 2024 AWARD WINNERS:

   Applicants who won awards at ArtWalk 2024 are exempt from the jury process, including the application fee. You will receive a coupon code via email to apply at checkout. You still must complete this application process to communicate your intention to participate in ArtWalk 2025. Please also upload current sample of your work. We use these files to promote your art on our website.
