Our Mission

1/4

The mission of Arts for Rural Texas (ARTS) is to enrich lives through art and art education with an emphasis on children's programs.

WHO WE ARE

ARTS is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization founded on the belief that the children living in our rural communities must have visual and performing arts experiences as part of their basic education to develop skills such as creativity, confidence, dedication, problem-solving, and accountability - traits that lead to success in work and life.

WHAT WE DO

ARTS  has removed the barrier of access to the arts for over 27,000 children in our rural communities. With free classes during the school year and fee-based camps in the summer, children are exposed to a wide variety of media. ARTS also brings performance arts to the schools and to our public fine art galleries with professional performances and workshops.
