HOUSTON GRAND OPERA COMES TO RURAL TEXAS

[FEBRUARY 11th & 12th, 2019]

 Through the Fine Arts Assemblies, Arts for Rural Texas brought the Houston Grand Opera to-Go to Fayette and Colorado county!  Performances were held at Fayetteville ISD, Round Top - Carmine ISD, Weimar ISD, and St. Rose School of Schulenburg.

This world-class troupe performed “Elixir of Love” – a fun-filled opera about a small-town boy who discovers that no potion from a quack doctor could impress his sweetheart more than a hearty dose of self-confidence.
