ArtWalk showcases over 60 artists working in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, and beyond. Along with fine art, attendees can enjoy artist demonstrations, live music, children’s activities, a food court, a wine booth, and more.

This celebrated festival invites visitors to explore and purchase original works while experiencing a lively atmosphere filled with creativity, culture, and community.

Featured Artist: Diane Peterson

Born and raised in Texas, Diane Peterson is a dedicated artist, mother of two, and proud grandmother of five. She and her husband currently reside on five acres in Chappell Hill, where she finds inspiration in the beauty of her surroundings.

Largely self-taught, Diane has honed her craft through studies with accomplished artists such as Sue Bown, Gina Rayne, and Carol Marine. She enjoys working in a variety of mediums, creating delightful pieces that capture flora, fauna, architecture, landscapes, still life, and abstract compositions.

Her work is currently featured at the Hoity Toity Peacock in Brenham, and she regularly showcases her art at local exhibitions. A longtime participant of ArtWalk, Diane finds joy in sharing her paintings with the community.
